EDITORIAL

This has been an exceptional month of rewards for all of us at Built Expressions!

After completing one year of publication and offering 12 valuable editions to the fraternity on various topics of interest, we at anniversary issue indeed a special one. We deviated a little bit from our usual rich content format and gave a tinge of commercial flavour on public demand. With 180 ,plus pages studded with exclusive interviews with leaders of the industry, the issue was well received and we started focussing on our next issue as a routine. Sustaining in the present competitive world for one year without looking back-was the first.

We then received the second, within a gap of one week. CIDC-Vishwakarma Award - the 'Best News Magazine' News Coverage of Construction Industry" 5th under "Achievement Award for Best category. The award included the prestigious Trophy and a commemorative Certificate. The glittering Award was recognised with the Built Expressions Centre, Delhi, on 7th March, 2013 saw the proud recipients beaming with pride and a sense of accomplishment. achieved this feat in just 12 months of its first year.

At this juncture we draw inspiration from all those fraternity members who have supported and encouraged Built Expressions to embark on this pedestal of recognition. With all the humility at our command, we respectfully express our gratitude to each one of you and continue to treat our work as a prayer in action. I also thank my colleagues at Built Expressions for their committed and hard working attitude - to make Built Expressions, a Reference Magazine, par excellence.

Our upcoming issues, as usual, will start focussing on specific themes with emerging technologies and field application methodologies giving you an edge over others. Rich with information at your command, we look forward for a better and sustainable society created by a new generation Architects and Civil engineers of the future.
